SELF-GUIDED PRACTICE

How to practice

  1. Stand in a safe place with feet about hip-width apart and knees unlocked.
  2. Let the arms rest naturally and keep the gaze soft, open, and steady.
  3. Feel the soles of the feet: heels, balls of the feet, toes, and contact with the ground.
  4. Notice how weight shifts through ankles, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, neck, and head.
  5. Allow small sways; treat them as balance information rather than mistakes.
  6. Keep breathing naturally while sensing the whole body standing as one connected posture.
  7. If you feel fatigue, pain, or instability, sit down and continue with feet on the floor.
  8. Finish by taking one mindful step or by sitting slowly while staying aware of movement.

Stay comfortable. You can stop at any time or return to your natural breath.
