SELF-GUIDED PRACTICE
How to practice
- Begin with grounding so the body feels steady before asking a question.
- Choose one simple question, such as what is here now, what am I believing, or what needs attention.
- Ask the question once, then pause instead of searching intellectually for an answer.
- Listen inwardly for sensations, images, emotions, memories, impulses, or assumptions that arise.
- Stay close to immediate experience rather than debating, explaining, or building a long story.
- If nothing appears, notice the blankness, waiting, or pressure to know as part of the inquiry.
- If the inquiry turns into rumination or distress, stop and return to orientation or a concrete anchor.
- End by writing or naming one clear observation, not a final conclusion.
Stay comfortable. You can stop at any time or return to your natural breath.
